Copenhagen are now believed to be ready to sell talented teenager Roony Bardghji a month after Crystal Palace interest.
Crystal Palace look like they’re preparing for a busy January transfer window with multiple incoming links, along with outgoings.
While relegation doesn’t look like a concern this season, some reinforcements would go a long way in ensuring things stay that way.
There are some positions the Selhurst Park side need to improve on, however, there’s one player who’d be a luxury and that is Roony Bardghji.
The extremely talented 18-year-old is among the most sought-after in world football right now and would be an incredible coup for Palace.
However, if Palace are interested, they’ll be facing stiff competition from several of Europe’s elite.

Roony Bardghji now possibly for sale – Crystal Palace should strike
It’s very rare that a talent is so good and generational that his availability alerts half of Europe, but that’s exactly what has happened as it’s been reported that Copenhagen are ready to sell Bardghji.
The report comes from 90min, and suggests the Danish champions are considering it time to sell their prized asset. This news has been met with reported interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Spurs along with several other clubs both in England and in mainland Europe.
While Palace aren’t mentioned directly in this report, last month it was reported that Palace were interested in Bardghji and so this news of his availability likely comes as welcome news to Steve Parish and co.
Bardghji is the type of signing that could be a complete game changer for Palace and a real statement signing of their intentions going forward. The only question is where does he fit in?
Where does Bardghji fit in at Palace?
What diminishes the likelihood of Palace making a serious play for Bardghji however is that he doesn’t right now strengthen the team. Primarily a right winger, Bardghji would be directly in competition with Palace’s best player Michael Olise.
Therefore, it really only makes sense in the event Olise is sold which we hope doesn’t happen anytime soon. The money that the 18-year-old would cost too, is likely to be the entire budget given how coveted he is currently.
Palace would likely be better served using their money elsewhere in order improve the team as a whole. But if he does end up arriving, we wont be complaining.
