Crystal Palace are now considering a late move to sign Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille before Thursday’s transfer deadline.

Well – according to the Daily Mail – Dougie Freedman is weighing up a move to bring the Senegal international back to England.
Ndiaye shone in the Championship with Sheffield United last season, scoring 14 goals while also assisting a further 11 to help the Blades reach the Premier League.
The 23-year-old earned a £20m move to Marseille as a result of his fine performances, but has struggled in France with just one goal in 23 appearances.
Now – however – Crystal Palace could bring Ndiaye back to English football.
Any deal will be difficult to complete – and may require representatives from Crystal Palace flying out to the Ivory Coast – as the Marseille No.29 is currently competing in the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal.
Nevertheless, it will not be impossible, and these rumours simply won’t go away, which suggests there is genuine interest coming from Crystal Palace.
Iliman Ndiaye would be a fantastic signing for Crystal Palace
In our view, this would be a proper Crystal Palace signing.
Ndiaye is a skilful, confident forward who tends to get fans off seats, and can also operate in a number of different positions across the frontline.
25 goal involvements in the Championship last season is not to be sniffed at either.
Those are better numbers than the likes of Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise put up in their final seasons at QPR and Reading respectively, which suggests Ndiaye has the potential to be even better than the Crystal Palace fan favourites.
Eze recorded 22 goal involvements in his final campaign with QPR – while Olise registered 19 in his last season at Reading.
