Crystal Palace’s striker search continues and now it’s been suggested that a budget option could now be on the cards.
Roy Hodgson could be handed an attacking reinforcement this month, with multiple players already linked for the position.
Crystal Palace have scored the third-fewest goals in the Premier League this season with just 22 goals to brag about as per the BBC.
This is made more concerning by the fact eight have been in the last five games in the league, but ultimately, Palace need more teeth up front and that’s exactly why strikers are the priority this month.

According to talkSPORT, Southampton forward Che Adams is now available for a cut-price £6m fee this month.
The Saints are keen to avoid losing him for free and so are willing to sell on the cheap. As expected, this has led to a host of interest from Premier League sides hold interest.
Everton and Wolves have joined Palace in the race to sign him this month, and he could be the budget choice Palace could sign.
He’s the latest in a long line of forwards who have been rumoured to have interest from Selhurst Park and is one on the cheaper and probably more attainable side this window – in comparison to the likes of Moise Kean.

Scotland legend Ally McCoist described the striker as a ‘breath of fresh air” and also a “clever player” back in 2022.
Playing in the Championship this season for Southampton, Adams has scored seven goals and assisted two. According to FotMob, he’s created 11 chances this campaign while completing 11 dribbles.
Importantly, he also offers off-the-ball work-rate and this makes him perfect for a pressing side which could suit Palace when a new manager arrives especially.
He’s won the ball 14 times in the final third this season which is in the 89th percentile while winning 47.6% of his duels which is high for a forward (86th percentile).
