Crystal Palace are now beginning to compile a list of possible options to replace Marc Guehi should he be sold this coming summer.

In the upcoming summer transfer window Crystal Palace are expecting to receive multiple bids for multiple players.

Michael Olise, Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi are the three main names that Oliver Glasner will be concerned about losing this summer.

But it isn’t just players that Palace could lose, with Dougie Freedman about to be approached by Manchester United. The Red Devils are also suitors for two of Palace’s prized assets on-field in Olise and Guehi.

Crystal Palace weighing up Marc Guehi replacement options

According to The Telegraph, Guehi is going to be subject to interest from a handful of top sides in the Premier League.

These include the aforementioned United along with Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs who all are keen on the defender.

With knowledge of likely interest arising, Palace are planning ahead and beginning to compile a shortlist of options in order to replace Guehi.

The Telegraph report adds that Palace are showing interest in central defenders across Europe and are already lining up the targets.

Freedman could repeat Guehi coup and sign Trevoh Chalobah

If Guehi is to depart Selhurst Park this summer, there’s no option better to replace him than by repeating the Guehi signing by getting Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah.

Palace were linked with Chalobah during the winter window but ultimately decided against it with a move for Adam Wharton completed to strengthen the midfield instead.

This could be the ideal replacement for Guehi and there’s the potential he could replicate the incredible development we have seen from Guehi.
