Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.
Crystal Palace are now monitoring Donny van de Beek as Manchester United attempt to sell the Dutchman this summer.
That is according to 90min.
So, what is the situation involving Crystal Palace and Donny van de Beek? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Well, it is said that the Netherlands international is currently exploring his options after being told by Erik ten Hag that he is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
90min believe Manchester United would prefer to sell Van de Beek, although a loan exit looks most likely as things stand.
Crystal Palace – in addition to Wolves and Nottingham Forest – are exploring a deal to sign the Manchester United No.34 this summer, although there is a lot of competition from abroad.
90min add that Inter Milan, Roma and AC Milan have enquired about Van de Beek, while Celtic, OGC Nice, Ajax and Feyenoord are also interested.
The 26-year-old made just seven Premier League appearances last season before a knee injury ended his campaign early.
Crystal Palace seem to be huge fans of Donny van de Beek
This is not the first time Crystal Palace have expressed interest in Van de Beek.
According to The Athletic, we came very close to signing the Nijkerkerveen-born maestro in January 2022 during Patrick Vieira’s first season in charge.
However, Van de Beek eventually chose to join Everton instead as he rejected a move to Crystal Palace.
That decision backfired as the Toffees almost dropped into the Championship, with Van de Beek failing to assert himself at Goodison Park.
Now – as things continue to go badly for the £35m man at Manchester United – the Eagles could get a second chance to sign him this summer.
Be sure to keep an eye out for developments on Van de Beek’s situation this summer, as anything could happen.
