New reports suggest that Crystal Palace want to re-sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka but the defender favours a move to a Premier League rival.

What’s the story?
Wan-Bissaka came from Crystal Palace’s academy and burst into the first team, becoming a fan-favourite. His good form then saw him sold to Manchester United for £45m.
Now, Football Transfers. are suggesting that he could leave the Premier League giants, either in January or in the summer.
Apparently the Eagles are interested in bringing the defender back to Selhurst Park. Sadly though it looks like the full-back currently has his sights set elsewhere.
Wan-Bissaka is also attracting the interest of London rivals West Ham. The player finds this move more ‘enticing’ that the Eagles at the moment. A move to either club could happen in January.
Crystal Palace interested in Aaron Wan-Bissaka
It is no shock to see the Eagles interested in a right-back. Their current players in that position are veterans Joel Ward and Nathaniel Clyne.
Ward currently starts for the Eagles but he has struggled to compete against some of the fast wingers he has been up against and this has been a huge issue for the club.
Steve Parish and Roy Hodgson know Wan-Bissaka well. The 25 year-old was great for Palace and became one of the best right-backs in the division during his time at the club.
Sadly it does make sense for the player to find West Ham a more exciting prospect at this current time. They have qualified for Europe for the last three seasons and won the Europa Conference League.
No doubt a full-back should be a priority for the Eagles in the January transfer window and it would be great to tempt Wan-Bissaka back to South London.
He has been playing a lot more since Erik Ten Haag joined the club; however, his contract expires in June 2024 and this could see him leave in January.
