Crystal Palace remain keen on signing a new wing-back, now a prolific option has been mentioned.
This summer has seen Crystal Palace make three signings thus far, but there are still glaring weaknesses in the squad.
Wing-back appears to be the position Palace still want to strengthen, and the desire could yet grow if Manchester United formalise their interest in Tyrick Mitchell.
This would leave the Eagles with no left wing-back – while the right side is the same with Daniel Munoz being the sole option on the right.
After snubbing the chance to sign Ryan Sessegnon, now Oliver Glasner could be eyeing up another option.

Crystal Palace eyeing up Robin Gosens
As the season is about the begin, Palace are now showing a strong interest in signing one player from Union Berlin.
This comes according to Fabrizio Romano who has reported that Palace have concrete interest in German wing-back, Robin Gosens.
Gosens was linked with a move to Torino but now they are about to sign Borna Sosa instead from Ajax.
Palace have Gosens in the list and Glasner really likes the idea of signing the goal-scoring wing-back. Now, it is up to the Bundesliga side to make their decision – but the Berlin boss wants to keep him which could cause complications.
Gosens cost Berlin £13m in 2023, and it is unlikely that they would let him go for less than this fee if Palace want to sign him this summer.
It would be a pretty interesting addition and surely leave Mitchell sweating over his status as a starter for Palace at wing-back.
Gosens scored six goals last season for Berlin which is more than Jordan Ayew managed for Palace, which says a lot about the kind of qualities he would bring to Selhurst Park.
Gosens turned down Newcastle in 2022
Newcastle and Palace have been linked in the headlines over the past few weeks, but by signing Gosens, Palace would be completing a deal that Newcastle could only dream of.
In 2022, Gosens admitted that he had turned down the chance to move to St James’ Park.
With Newcastle trying to sign Guehi from Palace, this is an interesting little win if the Eagles can lure a player Newcastle were unable to.
But above all else, he would be a really good signing for Palace.
