John Textor makes £8m bid to sign Brazilian for Crystal Palace, club demand £9m

Why Chelsea FINALLY Turned A Corner.

John Textor is now trying to bring Palmeiras wonderkid Kevin to Crystal Palace amid doubts over the future of Wilfried Zaha.

That is according to South American journalist Jorge Nicola.

So, what are the details involving Crystal Palace and Kevin? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Well, Textor, co-owner at Selhurst Park, is also the majority shareholder at Brazilian giants Botafogo.

Many presumed that the American was trying to sign Kevin for Botafogo, although Nicola claims that a €9m (£8m) bid has been made for the 20-year-old to join Crystal Palace.

Nicola – who revealed the information on YouTube – added that Palmeiras want closer to €10m (£9m) to negotiate a deal.

The Brazil Under-20 international is one of the hottest prospects in South America, and it would be very exciting to have him at Selhurst Park next season.

By the sounds of it, Kevin may not be the only Brazilian wonderkid coming to south London this summer.

Matheus Franca could join Kevin at Crystal Palace

We don’t often see many Brazilians at Crystal Palace – only Andre Moritz springs to mind from recent times – but two could arrive this summer as Matheus Franca is targeted in addition to Kevin.

It was the BBC – a very reliable source – who claimed that we are monitoring the Flamengo prodigy, with The Athletic adding that he could even replace Zaha, who is now the subject of interest from PSG.

Dougie Freedman is even said to have travelled to Brazil on multiple occasions throughout the 2022/23 campaign to scout Franca.

However, a number of other clubs – including Newcastle, according to The Sun – are watching the Flamengo wonderkid too, so it won’t be an easy deal to complete.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Textor aims to bring Kevin to Crystal Palace this summer.
