Well, Steve Parish and Dougie Freedman certainly seem to admire the Frenchman.
A story from the Evening Standard back in January claimed that those in the boardroom at Galatasaray were bracing themselves for a bid from Crystal Palace.
Then, another story – this time from another Turkish news outlet in TGRThaber – claimed that Crystal Palace were again plotting a move for Boey during the summer transfer window.
It remains to be seen if a bid was actually submitted, but with the right-back department in desperate need of strengthening at Selhurst Park, the Galatasaray No.93 appears to be our preferred option.
Now – according to Sporx – Boey is highly likely to leave the Turkish giants at the end of the season.
So far this season, the 23-year-old, who is now teammates with Wilfried Zaha, has made 19 appearances across all competitions, scoring one goal.

Boey’s reputation is beginning to rise after he scored in the 2-2 UEFA Champions League draw against Copenhagen, and Crystal Palace may regret failing to wrap up a deal earlier in 2023.
Sporx add that Manchester United are now considering a move for the Montreuil-born defender, while Brighton and Burnley are also keen to sign him.
With all due respect, we shouldn’t worry about interest from Burnley too much, although Manchester United and Brighton can offer Boey European football, which may tempt him to reject us.
