Manchester United might want multiple Crystal Palace first-teamers this summer, but it’s an academy wonderkid who is making the move.
Throughout this summer so far, Manchester United have had reported interest in numerous Selhurst Park players.
Adam Wharton, Ebere Eze, Marc Guehi, Michael Olise and Tyrick Mitchell have all been linked with Old Trafford at one point or another.
While it doesn’t look like they’ll manage to take any of these star players from Oliver Glasner’s squad, they’ve now agreed terms to sign one academy ace.
Here’s all the latest as Crystal Palace looks likely to lose a talent.

Manchester United reach full agreement with Samuel Lusale
Despite retaining a lot of the current stars to date, it seems the Eagles could lose a star of the future.
This comes according to reliable Manchester United academy news account MUFC Youth which reports Samuel Lusale to United has been fully agreed.
The 16-year-old rejected a scholarship with Palace in order to sign for the Red Devils and it looks like he’ll soon be joined by Chido Obi-Martin.
This was backed up by Fabrizio Romano who explained that Lusale turned down the Eagles.
Big loss for Crystal Palace
While he’s not a first-team player, Lusale is a very highly rated prospect within youth football and it’s a coup for United to have got him.
Labelled as “one of the most exciting attacking players in the United Kingdom at U16 level” – it’s clear the level of talent Palace has let slip through their fingers.
Lusale represents Slovakia at a U17 level and was involved in the Eagles’ FA Youth Cup squad last season.
He joins an already impressive group of youngsters at Old Trafford and will likely be a U18 for United this coming season.
For Palace, it’ll be a blow as the club would’ve wanted him to sign a scholarship, although, with multiple other top-class talents in the academy, the Eagles won’t see it as the end of the world.
