Tottenham are now considering a January move to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.

Well, Spurs are keen to strengthen the centre-back department.
Ange Postecoglou has lost the transformational Micky van de Ven to a serious hamstring injury, and Eric Dier is set to depart when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Tottenham also said goodbye to Davinson Sanchez, Joe Rodon, Clement Lenglet and Japhet Tanganga during the summer transfer window, so the north Londoners are in desperate need of a new central defender.
Now, Guehi is in Postecoglou’s sights.
The Daily Mail believe Spurs have held a meeting about potential January signings, where the £50,000-a-week Crystal Palace defender was mentioned, along with Everton No.32 Jarrad Branthwaite.
Goncalo Inacio of Sporting CP is also said to be on the shortlist, along with AC Milan No.28 Malick Thiaw and Benfica No.5 Morato.
Guehi has made 11 Premier League appearances so far this season – as well as five appearances for England, with his most recent outing against North Macedonia drawing praise from Gareth Southgate.
Crystal Palace fans should be relaxed about Marc Guehi situation
Crystal Palace supporters have no need to worry about losing the England international this season – as the man himself is not focusing on a transfer.
According to the Express, Guehi is keen to concentrate on Crystal Palace as the 23-year-old aims to secure a place in Southgate’s squad for UEFA EURO 2024 in the summer.
Of course, if the Abidjan-born defender does well at UEFA EURO 2024 in front of the entire world, then a departure from Selhurst Park may be inevitable in the summer.
In the coming January – at least – it seems likely that Guehi will stay put at Crystal Palace, which means Tottenham may have to look elsewhere for reinforcements this winter.
