Crystal Palace made a bold call in rejecting Ryan Sessegnon during the summer.
As Oliver Glasner and Dougie Freedman looked to find cover for Tyrick Mitchell in the left wing-back department, a decision was made to welcome the Londoner into Copers Cope for trials after his contract with Tottenham had expired.
Sessegnon trained with Crystal Palace and also played in a friendly throughout pre-season.
The Eagles eventually failed to sign an alternative, and the underwhelming summer of recruitment has seen us fail to win after eight games in the Premier League this season.

It seems Glasner and Freedman made the right call.
Sessegnon is yet to make an appearance in the Premier League for Fulham so far this season, with Marco Silva not even including the 24-year-old in his matchday squad in five out of eight games.

Oliver Glasner could now move away from wing-backs at Crystal Palace
After failing to sign adequate backup for Mitchell and Daniel Munoz, the Austrian could now pack his wing-back system in altogether.
Glasner is considering a formation change after eight Premier League games without a win, with the 50-year-old said to be testing a back four in training after Monday’s 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest.
Hopefully – if a tactical tweak is made – it sparks a turnaround immediately, as We Are Palace understand Steve Parish admires Graham Potter and could make a change in the dugout if results do not improve soon.
