Crystal Palace are among a number of Premier League clubs keen to sign Dario Osorio from Midtjylland this summer.
A story from AS Chile claims that the UEFA Conference League winners are monitoring the Chile international along with Everton and Bournemouth – while Benfica are also interested.
Kristian Kjaer – Sporting Director at Midtjylland – even revealed that Arsenal are keen on the South American forward as well.
The Dane told the Standard: “We know that Arsenal have been interested in Osorio, but we also know that other Premier League clubs have done the same. I also think it’s well known that Bournemouth have shown interest in him in the past. There are other Premier League clubs also considering him.”

So, what is all the fuss about? Let’s take a look.
Crystal Palace could snag Michael Olise-like bargain for Pierre Sage
Crystal Palace struck gold with the £8m signing of Michael Olise from Reading back in July 2021. It was a move which landed the Eagles a talented left-footed winger who caused havoc cutting inside from the right flank, and Osorio is of a similar profile to the France international in the way he operates.
AS Chile added that Midtjylland are willing to sell the 22-year-old for just €15m (£13m) this summer, so he would also be a bargain like Olise.
The aforementioned Kjaer described the Midtjylland No.11 as “the next Alexis Sanchez” given the excitement surrounding his talent in Chile, saying: “His defensive transitions are incredible, his top speed is incredible.
“A left-footed right winger, he can go to either the right or left side of his direct opponent. He has everything. He’s considered the next Alexis Sanchez in Chile. I think he can make a difference in the Premier League.”

Jonathan Videlle – who is Head of Scouting for Arsenal in South America – has also made a bold comparison involving Osorio, likening the Crystal Palace target to Angel Di Maria.
BolaVIP quote him as saying: “I see similarities with Di Maria when he started, because Osorio has that kind of intelligent winger profile. Skilful in one-on-one situations, knows how to cut inside and finish well.”
Osorio – who Crystal Palace were also linked to in 2024 – possesses the ability to make an impact in the final third, showing good maturity on the ball at the age of 22.
Last season, the Hijuelas-born attacker scored eight goals and provided ten assists in 49 appearances for Midtjylland, and can also boast plenty of international experience with 25 caps for Chile already.

If Osorio really is available for just £13m this summer, Crystal Palace – who also like Charlie Cresswell – need to make a serious push for his signature.
