With Euro 2024 kicking off this summer, Crystal Palace could look to scout a few players during the tournament for their transfer activity.

Armando Broja – Albania
One player that Crystal Palace could get a closer look at is Chelsea striker Armando Broja, who joins up with Albania this summer.
The striker is a promising centre-forward option but has struggled to make an impression with the Blues, as well as Fulham in a loan switch this season.
It’s clear that there’s still a quality player in there, with an ability to finish and a physical profile that makes him tough for defenders to deal with.
However, the Euros may display that better than the Premier League, with a chance to become the main man for his nation.
For Palace, a deal could work as competition to the in-form Jean-Philippe Mateta if Odsonne Edouard is sold this summer.
Leopold Querfeld – Austria
One player who has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace this summer is defender Leopold Querfeld from Rapid Wien.
The centre-back is just 20 years old and has already become a regular in the Austrian Bundesliga over the past season.
A call-up to the Euros hands the youngster a chance to showcase his ability for all to see on the international stage.
It could be a good barometer for Querfeld’s ability, especially in the absence of star player David Alaba due to injury.
Scouting the defender would make sense for Palace, not least due to the number of centre-backs required for Glasner’s style on top of a desire to land the best up-and-coming talents.
Johan Bakayoko – Belgium
A promising young star to watch this summer is Belgian forward Johan Bakayoko, who has impressed over the past season at PSV Eindhoven.
At just 21 years old, the winger has become a key player for his Eredivisie club, already winning the league once as well as two Dutch Cups and two Dutch Super Cups.
Bakayoko is a left-footed right-winger, allowing him to cut inside and score from range, bagging 12 goals and nine assists last season.
With Crystal Palace facing the possibility of losing Michael Olise over the summer, the young Belgian could be the ideal replacement.
Filip Kostic – Serbia
The 31-year-old was part of Glasner’s Eintracht Frankfurt side that won the Europa League, adding quality with his crossing from the left wing.
Kostic is a different option for the Eagles, not least if he plays in a wing-back role that would see him move up and down the flank to produce at both ends of the pitch.
The winger is expected to be a key player for Serbia during Euro 2024, offering a chance to see exactly what he can do.
Riccardo Calafiori – Italy
Another promising star to keep a keen eye on this summer is Italy defender Riccardo Calafiori.
The 22-year-old was a standout player in Bologna’s push for Champions League qualification in Serie A over the past season, making 30 appearances in the division.
Calafiori is a left-footed centre-back, but he is also capable of playing as a full-back or wing-back if required.
This makes him a promising, versatile option that would suit Crystal Palace and their approach to a tee.
