Crystal Palace’s summer transfer window seems to be already in the works as reports heat up, now an Austrian duo have been linked.
Oliver Glasner will be keen to see some real improvements to his squad at Selhurst Park this summer.
The Austrian manager only took charge of Crystal Palace last month but has already made his targets known.
Now HITC Football‘s Graeme Bailey has reported that Glasner has suggested a talented Austrian duo for this summer.
Leopold Querfeld and Matthias Seidl are the two names who have been mentioned by Glasner who has suggested that Dougie Freedman and Steve Parish take a serious look.

Who is Matthias Seidl?
The first name that Glasner has suggested is attacking midfielder, Seidl, who is a 23-year-old Austrian international.
This season in the Austrian Bundesliga for Rapid Vienna, Seidl has scored five goals and added four assists in his 21 games this season. He has also impressed in the OFB Cup with three goals and an assist in four games.
He is an attacking midfielder who can also play as a number eight which makes him a versatile talent who could add some extra quality to this Palace side, definitely the kind of player Glasner would like.
Siedl would be a possible Will Hughes replacement and would be a direct competitor against the likes of Naouirou Ahamada. Ultimately though, this is unlikely to be a priority position which means this suggestion from Glasner could be rejected at least for now.
Who is Crystal Palace target Leopold Querfeld?
Like Seidl, Querfeld is a current Rapid Vienna defender and could be an excellent addition to the defensive ranks at Palace.
An Austria U21 international with 11 caps, Querfeld has been a regular for Vienna this season, playing 20 games.
This is a move which would actually make a great deal of sense, with Palace currently creating their shortlist of names to replace Marc Guehi, but with a three-man defence, it’s likely a few centre-halves will be needed.
Like Seidl, he’d likely be a cheap choice at centre-half and therefore Palace should definitely listen to this suggestion.
