Dean Henderson has been speaking after Crystal Palace’s miraculous draw at The Etihad against Man City.
Crystal Palace turned a two-goal deficit around in order to gain a point against the treble-winning Manchester City.
Jack Grealish put City ahead after 24 minutes then in the second half, Rico Lewis doubled their advantage which no doubt would have had City feeling like they were home and dry.
This however wasn’t the case as Roy Hodgson showed he’s not finished yet despite possible concerns over his management, watching his side grab one back through Jean-Philippe Mateta in the 76th minute.
The comeback to draw was then dramatically completed in the 95th minute through a Michael Olise penalty. A massive point for Palace.

Speaking after the game, according to BBC Sport Dean Henderson was full of praise for both his teammates and the manager in their roles to get the point against City.
“Manchester City are a world-class team and you’ve just got to try to stay in the game as long as you can and hopefully catch them on the break which we did.
“We stuck to the game plan. The manager was unbelievable with the messages through the week. The boys deserve all the credit because it’s hard work against them.
“We’re all pulling in the right direction. There’s a great team spirit here. Obviously, we’ve got injuries but people are filling in holes and the young lads are coming off the bench. Everyone to a man was unbelievable today.”

It’s safe to say that Palace can thank Henderson for the point they picked up here. The English goalkeeper was in immense form for The Eagles and his stats prove that as per SofaScore.
He prevented 1.94 goals through making seven saves which is a very impressive tally, with five being from inside the box.
He was also very involved for Palace making 42 touches which is quite impressive considering Palace had just 26% of the possession.
The performance spells bad news for the injured Sam Johnstone who could struggle to earn his spot back if Henderson continues along these lines.
