Crystal Palace are now five games into the Premier League season and still winless ahead of a trip to Goodison Park on Saturday.
Oliver Glasner will be disappointed his side didn’t steal three points against Manchester United over the past weekend. Yet ultimately a point was a good result considering he could have found himself losing heavily if not for United’s poor finishing.
Crystal Palace were poor – although a second-half resurgence should give the Austrian confidence of improvement and also showed him some key changes to make against Everton.

Against the Toffees, the Eagles face a side below them in the table and a win is absolutely vital. But now Sean Dyche has been handed a boost in his team selection.

Despite Dyche’s side suffering four defeats in five so far, they have now been handed a handful of boosts in squad selection which will make it a tricky outing for the Eagles.

According to a reliable Everton news account ‘The Bobble’, the Toffees have four first-team players back in training this week ahead of the Crystal Palace game.
The players who have returned are Jarrad Branthwaite, Vitalli Mykolenko, Nathan Patterson and finally Idrissa Gana-Gueye.
All of these players are important names for the Toffees and therefore it is a substantial boost for Dyche and a bit of a blow for the Eagles.
Oliver Glasner is not so lucky with injuries
While Dyche has four players returning, elsewhere on the touchline Oliver Glasner has been less lucky – instead, he will still be reeling from the news that Cheick Doucoure would miss several weeks of action.
Along with this, Matheus Franca is also unlikely to return, however there could be a boost in the form of Trevoh Chalobah returning from injury – the status of this will be revealed by Glasner later this week.
Glasner will be encouraged though, as his strongest team now seems quite clear-cut after the second-half display against United over the weekend.
But it is absolutely pivotal that a win is achieved here, otherwise the Eagles might well and truly be in a relegation battle.
