As Oliver Glasner watched on, Crystal Palace picked up point number one post-Roy Hodgson on Monday night against Everton.
In what was a crucial match in the fight against relegation for both sides, Crystal Palace shared the spoils after Amadou Onana scored an equaliser to end the game 1-1.
This goal meant that Jordan Ayew‘s top-tier strike was good only for a point rather than the three it likely deserved.
In a Michael Olise-esque finish, it seemed like Ayew would hand Oliver Glasner three points before he’d even taken a training session.
While that wasn’t the case, the performance has left things to be excited by but one moment in particular seemed to please the new manager who was sitting next to Steve Parish in the stands.

Excitement levels are high within Crystal Palace as Glasner gears up to begin his role at Selhurst Park, likely on Tuesday.
However on Monday night at Goodison Park, he was in attendance to get a good look at his new team and one moment in particular seemed to have impressed him.
This moment of course was Ayew’s terrific strike in the 66th minute of the game which at the time put Palace into the lead.
On Sky Sports, amid the celebrations in the away end, Glasner was shown to be beaming from ear to ear with a smile after seeing the goal.
Due to this, it’s likely he’s found himself an early favourite in Ayew.
Glasner has a huge opportunity this weekend
Attention for Glasner right now will have already turned to this weekend, with Palace set to face Burnley at Selhurst Park.
This is possibly the best possible opponent he could ask to face in his first game and is a huge opportunity to pick up all three points.
In terms of his first three, two are extremely winnable for Palace and so Glasner should be confident of having an immediate impact with Luton Town at Selhurst Park his third game, after facing Spurs in the second.
