Crystal Palace face the prospect of a huge game this weekend against rivals Brighton, but Roy Hodgson will be boosted by new arrivals.
Roy Hodgson will be hoping that his side can build on the momentum earned in a 3-2 win over Sheffield United midweek, as his side takes on Brighton.
It’s a game with massive stakes for Hodgson and Crystal Palace with their bitter rivals looking to pile on the misery.
A win, probably sees Palace able to take a deep breath with a substantial gap between them and the relegation-battling sides below.
Hodgson has the luxury of his two new signings being available for selection and fans will be keen to see them in action. However, in a massive blow, it seems Eberechi Eze could miss out as Hodgson confirmed he needs a scan to assess his hamstring.
So here’s our predicted Crystal Palace line-up to take on Brighton…

Crystal Palace predicted line-up to face Brighton
With it being a derby game, the stakes are high so it’s likely that Hodgson goes as strong as possible, while utilising his new signings is also an option.
Dean Henderson
Starting between the sticks for Palace should be Dean Henderson whose heroic displays over recent weeks have made him undroppable for Hodgson right now.
Daniel Munoz
The name fans are desperate to see, Daniel Munoz, finally a new right-back has arrived at Palace and we are expecting him to be thrown right in at the deep end in this game.
Joachim Andersen
He asked for signings, and he got them, Joachim Andersen will be delighted with new faces in the team for the last part of the season and he will also be delighted to face Brighton.
Marc Guehi
Alongside Andersen, the always impressive Marc Guehi continues at centre-half for what is a hugely important fixture.
Tyrick Mitchell
At left-back, Tyrick Mitchell continues after a very impressive outing against Sheffield United midweek.
Jefferson Lerma
Midfielder number one is Jefferson Lerma who deserves to keep his place and will be excited to play alongside Palace’s latest recruit.
Adam Wharton
Hodgson has been full of praise for Wharton and he’s confirmed the £22m man is available so hopefully he doesn’t hold back and starts him here.
Jeffery Schlupp
A name few would want to see named here, however in Eze’s absence he’s the player Hodgson is likeliest to call upon to play in the 10 position.
Michael Olise
With a mesmerising display midweek, Michael Olise will want to continue his world-class form this year with another top display against Brighton with Hodgson banking on his fitness.
Andre Ayew
On the left side, Andre Ayew should start with his solid performances giving us no reason to suggest otherwise.
Jean-Philippe Mateta
The big number nine, Jean-Philippe Mateta, gets the nod here as he looks to get on the scoresheet.
