Saturday saw Crystal Palace pick up another three points and move into twelfth. In the game, it’s Michael Olise who’s shone brightest.
It’s almost not surprising anymore to see Crystal Palace doing so well and flying high under Oliver Glasner.
At the Molineux on Saturday afternoon, it was no different for Palace, as the Eagles made it 16 points out of the possible last 18.
In this latest triumph, Michael Olise was the star of the show as he assisted and scored for Palace, along with practically creating Jean-Philippe Mateta‘s goal too.
Eberechi Eze was also on the scoresheet in a 3-1 win which saw the Eagles simply too much for Wolves.
But there was one Olise moment which left pundit Tim Sherwood baffled.

Tim Sherwood left baffled over why Olise didn’t celebrate
Speaking as a Premier League pundit during Saturday’s 3 pm kick-off featuring Palace away to Wolves, Sherwood was left confused by something Olise did after scoring.
“Michael Olise is on fire. I don’t know why he doesn’t celebrate! He has such quality.”
Sherwood is spot on too, after scoring what was a screamer of a goal, Olise’s reaction was incredibly subdued as though he wasn’t thrilled with scoring such an excellent goal.
This was Olise’s third goal in two games and the previous two which came against Manchester United were celebrated in a vastly different manner, which could have underlying meanings.
How many goals has Olise now scored for Crystal Palace?
After another profitable outing for Michael Olise against Wolves, his goal-scoring stats are simply phenomenal.
Having played just 18 times this season in the league due to injury, Olise has scored 10 and assisted five which is a scary amount.
Imagine he’d played 36 games and had been fit throughout, we’d then be looking at 20+ goals and 10+ assists.
After his two-goal contributions against Wolves, this season is now his most successful with 15 G/A which is two more than last season (13), although he’s played 19 games less this time around.
