Crystal Palace academy prospect Ademola Ola-Adebomi has just been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month.

He has received this nomination following his performances for the U21s in October.

So, whats the latest on Crystal Palace talent Ademola Ola-Adebomi? Let’s take a look…

What’s the story?

Crystal Palace have some exciting talents in their academy and we are seeing glimpses of one in the Premier League this season in Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

The U21s have seen various players involved in the senior match day squad this season when the Eagles had an injury crisis.

Ademola Ola-Adebomi was one of these as he was on the bench against Manchester United. Things have gone from good to even better for the forward as he has just been nominated for the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

The 20 year-old has had a great October in the division and has impressed massively. Ola-Adebomi managed to score three goals in Premier League 2 over October.

It is great to see the academy prospect nominated for this very prestigious award and it shows that there is a lot of talent at Palace.

Ola-Adebomin has managed six goals and two assists in nine games this season and this is a great tally for the 20 year-old.

It looks like he is starting to show that he has potential and at this age this is great to see for all associated with Palace.

Hopefully, the forward can win the award for a good month, but there is a lot of talent in Premier League 2 so this will be very hard to manage.

A lot of the older players in the U21s, like Ola-Adebomi, will feel like this is a huge season. They need to prove that they can break into the first team sooner rather than later.

We have seen prospects head to the divisions lower down on loan, so this may be the next option for the young forward. There will no doubt be some movement at Palace January, so it will be one to keep an eye on.
