Jordan Ayew has lifted the lid about life at Crystal Palace, putting good form down to the culture created by Roy Hodgson.

This season has been up and down so far for the Eagles but Jordan Ayew has spoken out about the positivity in the camp.

Ayew joined the club back in 2018 with an initial loan. He impressed immediately with his work rate which saw him join permanently for £2.5 million.

Since his move to Selhurst Park, he has gone on to make 186 appearances and score 19 goals. His heart and desire is what has endeared him to the Palace fans.

What has Jordan Ayew said?

It is fair to say that Ayew is well-loved at Palace. He signed a new deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the season at least.

He just gets Palace, on that he said: “As a team at Crystal Palace, we are humble. We know our qualities, we know our strengths, and we know what we can do.

“We have a good team and a good squad.”

There is clear belief from the Ghanian in the team and he knows what the Eagles could achieve.

Hodgson is a big part of Palace right now and is massively respected by fans and players alike.

Discussing the legendary manager, Ayew said: “I’d worked with Roy Hodgson before.

“Since he’s come in again, it’s been so positive here. Everything seems to be heading in the right direction and we are here to support him.”

It is clear how the forward sees the gaffer and everybody is moving in the right direction with him.

Ayew likes playing under him, made clear by saying: “The manager knows my qualities and gives me a bit more freedom and more responsibility to perform on the pitch.”

Since Hodgson has come back to the club, things have only got better and that is made even better by key players speaking positively.
