Andoni Iraola says Yeremy Pino is in fine form at Crystal Palace
Speaking on Bournemouth AFC’s official YouTube channel ahead of the weekend, Iraola was asked for his verdict on fellow countryman Pino and his recent form at Crystal Palace, with the Cherries manager responding positively to the question.
Iraola said: “I think he has been performing already really well consistently. He’s not just a young player starting now. No, he has been giving a high level in Spain for the last years playing for the national team, playing in Europe.
“It’s not a big surprise, you know, he has been very good, I think, for Palace also the games he’s played. And I don’t think it’s a big gamble, you know, it’s like a proven player already, even if he’s still very young.”

Andoni Iraola echoes Oliver Glasner verdict on Yeremy Pino
Pino, 22, scored for Spain in their win over Georgia last week. But he’s still waiting for his first goal at Crystal Palace having played five times in the Premier League this season without a goal or assistss.
Nonetheless, he’s looked sharp. Speaking after the win over Dynamo Kyiv, Glasner hailed Pino’s performance that day, saying: “He was very good. He worked so hard. In the last games, he didn’t get the reward, but he’s such a great guy, he always keeps going and he gets more and more used to the way we are playing.”
Earning praise from top managers like Iraola and Glasner, and so early into his time in the Premier League, is a real reflection of the potential he holds.
Soon enough, the goals and assists will surely come for Pino at Crystal Palace.
