Crystal Palace have had a good start to the Premier League season and BBC pundit Garth Crooks has been left shocked by what Roy Hodgson has managed to do so far this season.
He was left amazed after Crystal Palace beat Manchester United 1-0 on the weekend.

Crystal Palace have 11 points from the first seven games of the Premier League this season, and the fan base is very happy.
It could have been a completely different reaction if the Eagles had lost on the weekend as they got knocked out of the Carabao Cup last week by Manchester United.
In his Premier League team of the week selection, Crooks named both Sam Johnstone and Joachim Andersen in the team after their great performances at Manchester United.
Whilst speaking about Johnstone, Crooks also piled the praise on Roy Hodgson. In his BBC Sport column, he said: “I must say at this point Palace manager Roy Hodgson is defying all logic. He seems to have once again quietly rejuvenated the London club.”
Crystal Palace looking good under Roy Hodgson this season
Roy Hodgson was made Crystal Palace manager for the second time after the club sacked Patrick Vieira in the 2022/23 season. In the months that Hodgson managed last season, he brought morale back with some top performances.
This saw the club re-hire him for another year and despite what he has done in the past the move did still worry some Palace fans.
Getting knocked out of the cup so early frustrated many but the Premier League performances this season have been very good and it sees the club sit in the top half of the division.
Hodgson also made Premier League history following the win to Manchester United on the weekend and momentum is high ahead of the game against Nottingham Forest.
More so, to be picking up the points against tough opposition with a squad that is lacking depth and with around seven injuries is very impressive.
It is no shock to see Crooks in awe over what the Englishman is managing to achieve at the Eagles this season. Hopefully it continues.
