Michael Olise has been an absolute revelation for Crystal Palace this season and when fit, there’s hardly been a better player in the league.
Single-handedly winning games at times, there’s little shock to see Manchester United now desperate to sign him in the summer transfer window.
Olise has only managed 11 Premier League appearances this season, but in these limited games, he has managed to rack up six goals and three assists.
He’s been so good in front of goal this season but now data has shown exactly how good he’s been when fit.

Michael Olise among the best goal-scorers in the Premier League
Olise has been a key part of most things good for the Eagles this season and now he’s been ranked among the most clinical goalscorers in the league as X account The Other 14 has explained.
Olise ranks seventh in the minutes per goal rankings in the league with a goal every 125 minutes that he is on the pitch, while this is enough to have him fourth among players for teams outside the big six.
Above Olise are Callum Wilson, Mohammed Salah, Alexander Isak, Diogo Jota, Chris Wood and Erling Haaland, so it’s clear he’s in incredible company.
He’s got fewer minutes per goal than Son Heung-Min, Darwin Nunez, Cole Palmer, Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka, which is a tremendous outcome for the 22-year-old.
Olise is joined in the top 20 – among the other 14 sides – by his teammate Eberechi Eze who’s scored every 219 minutes.
When will Michael Olise return for Crystal Palace?
Olise has been injured since February when he suffered yet another hamstring injury, a third of the season.
In early March it was reported by South London Press that Oliver Glasner and the club were hopeful of the magician returning to action this month or early April at the latest – Nottingham Forest away on March 30th could be the target.
While the rest of the squad has been in Marbella, Olise has been continuing his rehabilitation work at Copers Cope.
This could mean he joins first-team training next week or the week after, with Glasner not keen on rushing the talented Frenchman back into action as he has been too often this season.
