One club are now set to offer Crystal Palace millions for a player who has hardly been used in the Premier League.

Now – however – another talented fringe player at Crystal Palace is about to be the subject of a £12m bid…
Southampton preparing new bid for Jesurun Rak-Sakyi
A story from Alan Nixon now states that Southampton are preparing a new £12m bid to sign Jesurun Rak-Sakyi from Crystal Palace.
The Crystal Palace No.49 only made six Premier League appearances last season – all of which came off the bench – and has just one Premier League start to his name in total.
Despite that, Russell Martin clearly sees ability in the England U20 international, and wants him at the St Mary’s Stadium.
It comes after Southampton already saw a £7m bid rejected by Crystal Palace for Rak-Sakyi last week.
Nixon adds that Crystal Palace are likely to reject the new £12m offer, with the 21-year-old viewed as a top prospect by the Eagles, who would prefer to loan the winger out if he is to depart this summer.
Hull City and Leeds United are said to be keen on a loan deal for Rak-Sakyi.
Crystal Palace should give 21-year-old a chance
If Southampton are ready to part with £12m to sign Rak-Sakyi, why doesn’t Glasner just give him a chance to replace Michael Olise?
A fellow Premier League club clearly believes the Londoner is ready to shine in England’s top-flight, which should make those at Crystal Palace sit up and take notice of the talent they are currently neglecting.
Rak-Sakyi starred on loan at Charlton in the 2022/23 campaign with 15 goals and ten assists across 50 appearances, and also impressed in last season’s 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest, winning the Man of the Match award in what was his first proper taste of a Premier League match, before spending the rest of the season on the bench.

The Southwark-born wonderkid is clearly a top prospect, and if he is allowed to leave on a permanent basis this summer, there should be uproar amongst Crystal Palace fans.
