Crystal Palace are seemingly on the verge of releasing the new home kit for the 2026/27 season.
An official poster from the Eagles has now been put up outside of Selhurst Station – which effectively confirms the rumours that the new strip will be a tribute to the white 1976 shirt, 50 years on from its release.
A design has already been leaked, which you can see below.

Speculation intensifies as Crystal Palace potentially prepare to release remake of 1976 sash shirt
Crystal Palace fan Nick Philpot very kindly headed down to Selhurst Station on Friday afternoon after hearing whispers that the Eagles had put a poster up outside, hinting at the new kit.
As you can see in his post on X (previously known as Twitter) below, there was indeed a poster, showing nothing more than a white background with a red and blue sash – along with the Crystal Palace badge from 1976, the Macron logo and our new Temporal sponsor along the bottom.
Another sighting of the poster has since been spotted outside of the club shop.
It very much suggests Crystal Palace could well be adopting a white home shirt for the 2026/27 campaign including a red and blue sash, just like the shirt from the 1976/77 campaign.
The Eagles opted to move away from red and blue stripes that year and released a plain white strip with a coloured sash, and leaked images suggest Macron have made a modern-day remake.
As you can see above, images have already popped up on social media showing a white Macron shirt including a red and blue sash, along with the very same Crystal Palace badge seen at the bottom of that poster hanging up outside Selhurst Station.
With all of the above taken into account, do not be surprised if Crystal Palace mix things up a bit this summer and release a white home shirt, in a nod to the 1976 design on its 50th anniversary.
