After the loss this past weekend to Brighton, Roy Hodgson is under severe pressure and now the club have reportedly made a huge call.
Crystal Palace fans have been over with Roy Hodgson for months now as he consistently makes poor decisions and the Eagles continue to lose.
The latest was one of the worst of the bunch as rivals Brighton beat them 4-1 at the Amex. This game also saw Michael Olise pick up another injury, as Hodgson subbed him on at halftime despite concerns over his fitness.
Now, as rumours begin to grow over Hodgson’s future, now it’s been reported that the Selhurst Park club have made their decision.

Crystal Palace have made Hodgson decision already
According to a report from Bobby Manzi, the Palace board have now decided that Hodgson needs to be replaced immediately. The 76-year-old’s position is reported to be ‘untenable and change is needed’.
With that decision made the club has begun sounding out his potential suitors, however, they are struggling to find someone willing to take the role as Steve Cooper, Graham Potter and Julen Lopetegui all turned the role down.
Hodgson won’t be sacked until a replacement is lined up given how every game is now pivotal as the Eagles sit five points above the drop.
Who should Palace look to bring in?
Realistically speaking, things couldn’t get much worse than they are right now with 5-0 and 4-1 losses in the last three games.
Therefore, even a temporary replacement until the summer should be considered as with the players in the squad, a competent coach should be able to drag Palace to survival.
In a dream scenario, Michael Carrick would be perfect for this young Palace side and if Middlesbrough drop away from a playoff race he could be tempted to take the job early.
Carrick is a progressive manager and he’d love to work with the likes of Naouirou Ahamada and also Matheus Franca.
