Crystal Palace are currently searching for their ideal Roy Hodgson replacement as the 76-year-old looks unlikely to see the season out.
Roy Hodgson has overseen just four wins in 17 Premier League games and after the latest loss last Saturday against Brighton, speculation over his future has only heightened.
This has seen numerous different names now linked as possible options for Crystal Palace over the past few days.
Steve Cooper is seen as the favourite for the role, however, he isn’t willing to take over right now. Meanwhile, Julen Lopetegui is seen as a possibility as well with the Spaniard keen on a Premier League return.
Kieran McKenna has also been mentioned as an option for Palace but like the other two, he’d not want to leave Ipswich Town immediately.
Now though, 49-year-old Austrian Oliver Glasner has been named as an option for Steve Parish and co.

According to the Daily Mail, Palace’s options are growing as they search for a coach who’ll be willing to replace Hodgson.
This search has brought them to the 2022 Europa League-winning boss Glasner who has been searching for a new club for nearly a year.
Leaving Frankfurt in June 2023, Glasner was an option for Tottenham Hotspurs before they appointed Ange Postecoglou.
A talented coach who had real success in the Bundesliga although Palace would likely be apprehensive of his lack of English experience after multiple clubs have been burned with European coaches of the same ilk before.
Who is Oliver Glasner?
Glasner is a 49-year-old Austrian manager who has spent the last five years in Germany. He managed VFL Wolfsburg from 2019 until 2021 in which he boasted a record of 1.67 points per game as per Transfermarkt.
From here, he took over the role at Eintracht Frankfurt where he remained until June 2023 where he won the UEFA Europa League.
Before his time in the Bundesliga, he managed Austrian giants LASK and before that managed SV Reid. His career began at RB Salzburg where he was first the sports coordinator before taking up an assistant manager role.
Interestingly, Glasner boasts an impressive record against British opposition with three wins, one draw and a loss to Spurs.
He’d be an interesting choice by Palace and he could be willing to replace Hodgson immediately too making him ideal for the club.
