Crystal Palace prospect Luke Plange is on loan this season and he put in a top performance despite his team losing 5-1 last night.
He is currently on loan at Carlisle.
So. how did Crystal Palace’s Luke Plange get on in the match? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
The 21-year-old needs this current loan move, which lasts the whole season, to go well. The forward will have to prove his worth or the Eagles could look to move him on in the near future if he is not of the level required.
He managed to perform well in the match he played yesterday despite Carlisle losing 5-1 to fellow relegation battlers Reading.
Plange was on the bench at first, but he came on in the 10th minute due to an injury to another forward. Reading were winning 1-0 when Plange managed to score an equaliser.
As well as the goal, he managed 41 touches and won seven ground duels. Overall, he received a rating of 7 out of 10 from SofaScore.

Crystal Palace prospect Luke Plange shines in defeat
The result on Tuesday night was not a good one for Carlisle; however, Plange will be happy with his goal and performance.
Hopefully, this gives the Englishman a confidence boost as the season has not gone as planned for him so far.
He has featured 18 times in the league for Carlisle so he is getting a lot of experience, but his goal last night was only his second goal of the season.
Plange has only started eight times, but hopefully this goal will help him battle for a place in the starting lineup again.

If Plange wants to become a Premier League player with Crystal Palace then he needs to be performing a lot better in League One.
Other forwards in our academy who are younger, like Ademola Ola-Adebomi, are shining in the academy and Plange could fall down the pecking order if he doesn’t turn his season around.
