Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze is the latest player at the club to suffer an injury and this is another blow for Roy Hodgson, with the Eagles going through an injury crisis.
Reports from the Daily Mail have shared this update.
So, what’s the latest on Crystal Palace player Eberechi Eze and how long is he injured for? Let’s take a look…
How long is Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze injured for?
According to the report from the Daily Mail, Eze is set to miss up to six weeks due to a hamstring injury.
Apparently, the Eagles have been ‘dealt a major blow’, and are waiting to hear how severe the hamstring injury is.
This will also sadly mean that the Crystal Palace star will be unavailable for selection over the international break. He has been in the last two England squads and was likely to be named again.
The attacking midfielder is no doubt the talisman for the club and is their biggest attacking threat this season.

Eberechi Eze injury is a huge blow for Crystal Palace
Last season for Palace, Eze was on top form, especially towards the end of the season, as he managed 10 goals in the Premier League. He is the key creator and is also the set-piece taker at the club.
Therefore, the ‘incredible’ attacking player suffering a somewhat long-term injury is definitely a huge blow for the club. This is emphasised due to the lack of squad depth they currently have.
It will be very interesting to see how the club sets up tactically with Eze sidelined. There is no natural attacking midfielder at the club aside from Eze so he may need to change tactics.
There is not a lot of options, and it is disappointing as Crystal Palace have no doubt had a very good start to the season in the division.
Full list of Crystal Palace injuries as Eberechi Eze becomes latest casualty
The luck has gone from bad to worse as just a week ago, the Eagles lost summer signing Dean Henderson to injury on his debut.
Crystal Palace have an injury crisis on their hands, with at least eight senior players at the South London club currently injured. Those currently injured are:
- Eberechi Eze
- Odsonne Edouard
- Michael Olise
- Matheus Franca
- Jefferson Lerma
- Dean Henderson
- James Tomkins
- Naouirou Ahamada

The injuries have no doubt picked up since Roy Hodgson’s return so perhaps there needs to be some questions around the training schedule at the club.
Another reason that the Eagles are so affected by these injuries is due to the fact they barely added depth to the club during the summer transfer window. They now may be regretting that decision.
