Jorgen Strand Larsen enjoyed his finest moment yet in a Crystal Palace shirt after putting the icing on the cake in Krakow.
The Norwegian gave Oliver Glasner a two-goal cushion to take back to Selhurst Park thanks to an incredibly composed finish against Shakhtar Donetsk, sealing a 3-1 win for the Eagles in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League semi-final.
As Chadi Riad and others congratulated Strand Larsen for his goal on Instagram, a message also appeared from Santiago Bueno – a player Crystal Palace reportedly want to sign.

The Wolves No.4 is said to be a target for Matt Hobbs this summer.
Sport Witness say Crystal Palace have already held talks with Bueno after Wolves were relegated, with the centre-back keen on an immediate return to the Premier League.
The Uruguay international played with Strand Larsen at Molineux – making 43 appearances together – and after seeing his pal score against Shakhtar Donetsk, the defender posted a comment showing two emojis, one being a heart, and the other being a face with stars for eyes (🤩).
Clearly, the pair still keep in touch, so it will be interesting to see if the presence of Strand Larsen in SE25 sways Bueno towards a move to Crystal Palace – with Leeds, Brentford and West Ham also keen to sign him.
The BBC say Crystal Palace also want Joao Gomes from Wolves.

As aforesaid, Riad also responded, calling his teammate “the goat” (greatest of all time).
Walter Benitez praised Strand Larsen too, along with Rio Cardines.
The 26-year-old can now boast four goals in 15 appearances since his £48m move from Wolves in February. It is a tally the Norway international can certainly improve upon, but that latest strike in Poland was a priceless one which stands him in good stead amongst the fanbase.
Should we get the job done and reach the final in Leipzig, it will be fascinating to see who Glasner gives the nod between Strand Larsen and Jean-Philippe Mateta.
