Oscar Mingueza experienced his first day at Crystal Palace on Thursday after signing a four-year deal with the Eagles.
The Spaniard was shown around Copers Cope by the UEFA Conference League winners and got straight down to action after undergoing his media duties, as he did some individual training.
As Crystal Palace uploaded footage of Mingueza on his first day, fans were able to catch a glimpse of the new training kit.
🚨 NEW SIGNING ALERT 🚨
What do Palace need to do next after landing a new defender in Mingueza? 🇪🇸
Oscar Mingueza models new training kit
As you can see in the image below, the Eagles have gone for an all-blue training kit for the 2026/27 campaign.
This is the first glimpse of the training gear in an official capacity, although Cheick Doucoure did actually leak the first sight of the kit on Snapchat earlier this week in a brief video.
The Mali international added that he is “enjoying the process” as Eddie Nketiah and the midfielder get down to work and try to return to full fitness.
Unfortunately, there is yet to be any sight of the new home shirt.
Crystal Palace fans were excited after Mingueza was officially announced while wearing a retro shirt from the club’s vintage range, which many initially mistook as the new home kit.
It remains to be seen when Crystal Palace will release it, but a leaked image of the potential design has already emerged, showing a white strip with a red and blue sash across the front.
There are rumours it will be a remake of the white 1976 shirt – 50 years on from when that first came out.
One thing we do know is that the new strips – whenever they are released – will have a new sponsor across the front, after Crystal Palace agreed a deal with Temporal earlier this summer.
Has Oliver Glasner ruined his Crystal Palace legacy by moving to Nottingham Forest? 🤔
Hopefully, we are treated to a corker of a shirt, as it could be one for the ages if Crystal Palace enjoy a special campaign in the UEFA Europa League next term.
