Crystal Palace’s third summer signing is Ismaila Sarr and after his arrival at Selhurst Park, Dean Henderson has sent him a message.
Ismaila Sarr is now officially the latest addition to Oliver Glasner’s squad amid a summer of change for the Eagles.
After the signing was announced by Crystal Palace, the club released comments from Glasner on the signing, in which he was clearly delighted by the addition to his side.
Sarr also spoke after the move was sealed, in which he explained that former Palace player Cheikhou Kouyate talked with him about joining the club.
Now, the newest Eagles star has sent a message on his Instagram with Dean Henderson among the responses.

Dean Henderson responds to Ismaila Sarr
After his arrival, Sarr also took to Instagram with a message, he shared his delight to have joined the Eagles – adding that its a move two years in the making.
“Two years after our first contact, our mutual desire to work together has finally become a reality. Thank you to the club’s management for their continued interest in me.
“I’m incredibly happy to finally join Crystal Palace (and thrilled to be back in the Premier League; I’ve missed it a lot!).
“Excited to work with the coach and my new teammates to achieve new goals and make the fans even prouder of their club, Insh’Allah.”
Underneath this, Sarr received a bunch of responses, with one being from his new teammate Henderson.
The Palace keeper wrote: “Let’s go bro”, followed by a heart emoji. It’s great to see existing players sending messages of support to newly signed players.
Where will Sarr fit in for Palace?
Now he has signed, there is a question about where Sarr properly fits into Glasner’s side with some strong competition.
Sarr will be a positional replacement for Michael Olise, but he’s hardly a like-for-like alternative in terms of playing style.
With the likely exit of Jesurun Rak-Sakyi on loan, that will leave Sarr along with Jordan Ayew and Daichi Kamada as options on the right.
Meanwhile, on the left, Ebere Eze will remain the starter for as long as he is at the club, while Matheus Franca is the likeliest to deputise him after he is fit.
