Arsenal are expected to lift the trophy before anything else happens after the final whistle on Sunday, which in itself could be a lengthy process as the Premier League need to set up the presentation platform.
When Manchester City won the title at the Amex Stadium in May 2019, Brighton players and staff members could all be seen huddled close to the dugout waiting for Pep Guardiola and his team to lift the trophy first.
In the footage below, each Manchester City player even gets their own introduction before being presented with a medal, so it could take ages until Crystal Palace begin the lap of honour.
The AMEX Stadium is also visibly full of fans – for a change – in this video, another indicator that their lap of honour was yet to take place before the trophy lift.
The same happened in 2008 when Manchester United won the Premier League title at Wigan’s DW Stadium.
Arsenal are expected to lift the trophy in front of their supporters in the away end at Selhurst Park.
