Eberechi Eze has won the Premier League title at the first time of asking following his exit from Crystal Palace back in August.
The England international sealed a £67.5m move to boyhood side Arsenal after helping Crystal Palace win the FA Cup and Community Shield, where he has now helped the Gunners become champions of England for the first time since 2004.
Eze – who could yet become a UEFA Champions League winner as well this season if Arsenal defeat PSG – received many messages from former Crystal Palace teammates after winning the title, including Daniel Munoz and Christian Benteke.
Who should we be looking to keep around? 📝
Former Crystal Palace stars flock to congratulate Eberechi Eze
After the Arsenal No.10 posted about the title win on Instagram, Munoz commented “congratulations brother” along with the addition of a heart emoji.
Benteke – who made 32 appearances alongside Eze for the Eagles – also responded, writing “deserved” in the comments section.
Yannick Bolasie, who never got to play with Eze at Selhurst Park but is an avid supporter of the Gunners, added: “It all worked out! Timing ❤️🌟”
It has been a special season for those to have recently left Crystal Palace.
Marc Guehi just won the FA Cup for the second time in a row after helping Manchester City record a 1-0 win over another of his former sides Chelsea.
Michael Olise has also become champion of Germany and was named Bundesliga Player of the Season, while the France international can also win the DFB-Pokal if Bayern Munich defeat Stuttgart on Saturday.
It would obviously be nice to have these players back at Selhurst Park, but one positive we can take from their success elsewhere is that it will show other players Crystal Palace are a club worth joining – it should bode well for us heading into the summer transfer window.
Who deserves to start up top in the UEFA Conference League final? 🤔
Glasner seems to trust Mateta more at the moment… 👀
Hopefully, Oliver Glasner can ensure the 2025/26 campaign becomes a memorable one for Crystal Palace too with victory over Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig.
