Oliver Glasner is close to replacing Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace – and the Austrian’s salary has now been revealed.
It was the Guardian who provided the information.
So, how much will Oliver Glasner earn at Crystal Palace after replacing Roy Hodgson? Let’s take a look…
How much Oliver Glasner will earn at Crystal Palace after replacing Roy Hodgson
Well – according to the Guardian – Hodgson is expected to step down after requiring medical attention in training on Thursday, before undergoing further tests in hospital where Steve Parish accompanied him.
Given the circumstances, Crystal Palace are simply said to be waiting for a good time to announce Glasner’s arrival, although the finer details of his move appear to have already been ironed out.
The Guardian believe the 49-year-old will earn a yearly salary of £4.5m at Selhurst Park once he officially replaces Hodgson.

If Give Me Sport are to be trusted, this means Glasner has now become one of the best-paid managers in the Premier League.
The man from Schärding sits eighth in the table alongside Thomas Frank of Brentford, just behind Ange Postecoglou – who earns an annual salary of £5m at Tottenham.
Oliver Glasner contract length
According to Fabrizio Romano, Glasner is ready to embark on a long-term project in SE25, although that is not exactly reflected in his contract.
The Guardian add that the Austrian has agreed a two-year contract running until June 2026, which is fairly short.
There is – however – the option for Crystal Palace to extend these terms by a further 12 months if Glasner succeeds in south London.

Interestingly, the 2022 Europa League winner was not actually Parish’s No.1 choice to replace Hodgson – Kieran McKenna of Ipswich Town was approached before an agreement materialised with Glasner.
Be sure to keep an eye out for further developments, with an official announcement expected to arrive shortly.
