Jurgen Klopp Crystal Palace reaction
Crystal Palace secured a huge win over Liverpool to move one step closer towards Premier League survival. The Eagles stunned the Anfield crowd with an early goal, as a slick piece of passing play cut through the Reds.
The ball progressed to Eberechi Eze, who was free in the box and picked out the back of the net with his finish. The forward’s goal provoked a reaction from Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, who could only shake his head and say “wow”.
It’s unclear as to whether it was due to his own side’s defending or admiration for the move by Palace.

Dean Henderson praise
Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson came in for plenty of praise following his side’s victory over Liverpool. The shot-stopper made a few vital saves to deny the home side and ensured the Eagles took all three points back to London.
Jamie Redknapp was one of those to give plenty of praise, saying on Sky Sports: “This was an amazing save from Henderson, I’ve got no idea how he’s done it, he just paws it away.” It was a huge performance from the former Manchester United man, who is stepping up in the absence of Sam Johnstone.

Lewis Hall transfer blow
Crystal Palace have been handed a blow in their transfer pursuit of Chelsea youngster Lewis Hall. The Eagles have long been linked with a switch for the 19-year-old, following an impressive debut campaign for the Blues.
However, Hall secured a loan switch to Newcastle last summer, with an option to sign permanently. A lack of game time would’ve given Palace some hope of a deal but a clause in the loan agreement has since been triggered.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the transfer is now made permanent because the Magpies can no longer finish below 14th. It will cost the club £28million, coming as a blow to the Eagles and their hopes of a switch.
