Oliver Glasner is still set to leave Crystal Palace this summer despite a very strong end to the season.
The Austrian has overseen five wins and three draws across the last ten games in all competitions to have fans dreaming of a first ever European trophy – just a year on from that historic FA Cup success.
Despite winning back the fanbase after a turbulent start to 2026, it still looks as if Oliver Glasner is set to stick to his word and depart Selhurst Park – where Kieran McKenna could soon replace him.
Crystal Palace considering Kieran McKenna
Some fans may recall a story from the Guardian back in February 2024 while Roy Hodgson was overseeing a miserable run of form, in which it was claimed that Steve Parish had spoken to McKenna and was trying to lure the Northern Irishman away from Ipswich.
However, the 39-year-old wanted to see out the season at Portman Road with Ipswich fighting for promotion, which he eventually achieved.
Just six days after that story emerged, Glasner was hired, and the rest is history.
The Independent now state that McKenna is once again being considered by Parish, although it would require a compensation fee of £8m to hire the former Manchester United coach.
Ipswich are also back in the Premier League now, so the Eagles will have to be particularly persuasive if they are to land the man born in London – who the Guardian said Parish has admired for years.

McKenna still has a contract which runs until July 2028, so the Tractor Boys are in a strong negotiating position.
The Independent add that Andoni Iraola – who has already rejected two offers – and Frank Lampard are also under consideration.
Ultimately, whoever replaces Glasner has a heck of a challenge on their hands, with Crystal Palace currently enjoying a golden period under the outspoken 51-year-old.
