Marc Guehi and Conor Gallagher are known to be close friends, playing together for Chelsea’s academy and also Crystal Palace.
For England during this summer’s European Championships, there has been no player better than Marc Guehi.
The Crystal Palace centre-half has been pivotal for the Three Lions with his defensive impact keeping England in the tournament – while he also assisted Jude Bellingham’s equaliser against Slovakia, much to the scorer’s delight.
England will sorely miss Guehi on Saturday against Switzerland, but before that, he’s been speaking to the national team’s media about one thing he’s been destroying Conor Gallagher at.

Marc Guehi says he’s been battering Conor Gallagher during Euro 2024
The latest episode of Diary Entries on England’s official X account saw the Eagles star defender on show.
Guehi was shown a previous episode of Diary Room with Gallagher when the midfielder explained he was leading the Palace No.6 3-2 in their daily challenges.
To this, Guehi had an update: “Little update on that actually, it is 7-3 to me.”
Continuing, Guehi then explained that he’s been battering Gallagher at one thing during the competitions.
“It started off as just different competitions, and loads of different games, there are loads of different things on site to enjoy. But now it’s mainly table tennis and he’s just getting destroyed.”
Keeping Guehi is looking a whole lot more difficult for Palace
Palace want to keep Guehi this summer but amid some pretty heavy interest, it could be a struggle. Even before the Euros kicked off, some of the best Premier League sides were keen.
But after his starring role for England, interest will only have grown, but on the plus side for Palace, his value will also have increased.
Now, Guehi is reportedly even attracting interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona which is a step even he will be shocked by as those two clubs tend to only sign the cream of the crop.
If Palace are able to therefore keep Guehi, Oliver Glasner will have one of the best defenders possibly in the world at his disposal.
