The latest reports suggest that Crystal Palace will find it very hard to keep Marc Guehi next summer transfer window as big clubs like Arsenal want to sign him.
That is according to The Sun.
So, how many clubs want Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi? Let’s take a look…
What’s the story?
Crystal Palace defender Guehi has been a great signing since the Eagles paid £18m for him in the summer of 2021.
He has already captained the side on multiple occasions despite only being 23 years-old and he has arguably been one of our best ever centre-backs in the last decade. Guehi has also received a lot of praise this season, from fans and pundits.
According to The Sun, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta now views Guehi as part of his long-term Arenal plans.
They are not the only club interested, with the report suggesting that Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United are all keen as well. The only good news for Palace is that these clubs are waiting until the summer transfer window in June 2024 to bid, and won’t make a move in January.

Arsenal want to sign Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi
It is no shock to any Palace fan that Guehi is attracting big interest, especially from a club like Arsenal. He is destined for the top.
With the English international still so young, he could definitely sign for a club like the Gunners and stay as a key player for many years.
It is very good for Palace that no club is making a move for Guehi in the January transfer window, as he would be a huge loss to Palace half way through the season.
The Eagles have struggled to score a lot this season, and a lot of their points have come due to the fact that defenders Guehi and Joachim Andersen have been on top form and keeping clean sheets.

It would be so hard to replace Guehi mid-season. At least with the clubs wanting to bid next summer, Palace can plan and find a replacement.
Arguably, it will be close to impossible to find a replacement for Guehi, but there is a lot of exciting talent out there so Palace can definitely find someone close to his quality over the next six months.
