It remains to be seen whether Oliver Glasner and Steve Parish will continue working together at Crystal Palace beyond the current campaign.
The Austrian becomes a free agent when his contract ends in July, and is not short of suitors after remarkably guiding Crystal Palace to an FA Cup and Community Shield double.
Whispers of a rift between Steve Parish and Oliver Glasner emerged amidst the dramatic deadline day saga involving Marc Guehi – and the Crystal Palace boss has twice been vocal about new signings arriving too late in the summer.
However, the 51-year-old has now delivered an encouraging update on his relationship with the Crystal Palace chairman when speaking to LAOLA1.

The man born in Salzburg was directly asked about his relationship with Parish by the Austrian news outlet.
Glasner replied: “I don’t know (anybody) who lives in a relationship that is always characterised by harmony. I haven’t experienced that yet. That’s true both in professional and private life. It’s perfectly normal to have different views sometimes.
“Then you discuss them and try to achieve the best for a relationship, for a club, for your employer. It’s not like we get together in the morning and everyone says, that’s exactly what I thought, right! But the nice thing is, there’s never been any disagreement, everyone wants the same thing – to play successful football. We’ve always seen that as our common goal.”
This is not to say Glasner will sign a new contract, but it makes the situation seem a lot less negative than some sections of the media have portrayed it to be.

Matt Hobbs – the new Director of Football at Selhurst Park – is already working on a new deal for the FA Cup winner.
We Are Palace understand Hobbs hopes to have an agreement with Glasner before January begins, to ensure Crystal Palace can focus on enjoying a strong end to the season without speculation becoming a distraction.
It remains to be seen whether Glasner – who Manchester United admire – will stay, but we certainly feel more optimistic about an extension being signed after reading these new comments.
