Crystal Palace fans have grown anxious at the delay involving Oliver Glasner as the Austrian prepares to replace Roy Hodgson.
The 49-year-old has apparently agreed to take over from the 76-year-old and will sign a two-year contract at Selhurst Park.
There has – however – been a delay in regards to the official announcement, as Crystal Palace attempt to handle things respectfully after Roy Hodgson collapsed in training on Thursday and was taken to hospital.
Now – though – Crystal Palace fans can breathe a little easier as an interesting photograph of Oliver Glasner emerged earlier on Saturday…
Oliver Glasner spotted in London
Well, Monday’s Premier League clash against Everton will seemingly come a bit too soon for the man from Salzburg.
However, Crystal Palace take on Spurs the following Saturday, and Glasner was seemingly doing his homework on the north Londoners as he was spotted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today.
You can see the photo below.
Ange Postecoglou’s side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wolves in front of Glasner, so hopefully, the 2022 Europa League winner spotted a few weaknesses he can take advantage of next Saturday in N17.
Crystal Palace fans must be impressed
If Glasner really was in north London today to study his first opponent as Crystal Palace manager, it is very impressive.
The Austrian has never managed in England before and has not even been announced yet due to Hodgson’s health issues, so it would be easy for him to take a back seat and wait things out while prioritising his personal situation.

However, Glasner has instead opted to get stuck into his task straight away by examining Tottenham himself, rather than rely on the data that has presumably already been collected by Crystal Palace’s team.
Hopefully, Hodgson is feeling well again, and can officially pass on his duties to Glasner soon while he rests up.
