Oliver Glasner has a chance to instil some new ideas into his Crystal Palace squad during the current international break.
The Eagles do not return to Premier League action until Monday 21st October – when a trip to Nottingham Forest beckons.

A win would be very much welcomed by all Crystal Palace fans – even more than usual – as we currently sit 18th in the Premier League after a winless start.
Normally, international breaks are unpopular amongst supporters, although this interval gives Oliver Glasner a chance to reassess some things, and the Austrian has now organised something interesting.

So far this season, we have lacked the sharpness and intensity which saw us win six of our final seven Premier League outings last season.
However, Glasner seems keen not to let any cobwebs develop, as – according to the South London Press – he has arranged for a friendly against Ipswich Town to take place on Wednesday 9th October.
The match will give the 50-year-old a chance to potentially test out some new players, with Dean Henderson, Matt Turner, Daichi Kamada, Marc Guehi and Jefferson Lerma away on international duty.
It also represents a chance for Glasner to trial some fresh tactical ideas, against a Premier League opponent who actually sit above Crystal Palace as things stand.

Who could feature in Crystal Palace vs Ipswich Town
Without several senior players to call upon, Glasner may hand some fringe options a chance to shine.
Seeing as Henderson is away with England and Turner is with the USMNT, Louie Moulden could get an opportunity in between the sticks.
Moulden – who was signed in the summer after Wolves released him – has made four appearances for the Crystal Palace U21 side this season.
Furthermore, with Daniel Munoz injured, Caleb Kporha – who has impressed Glasner in training – could be given a chance to shine on the right flank.
Hopefully – despite the fact it is only a friendly – Crystal Palace can defeat Ipswich Town, and return to winning ways in some capacity.
