Eddie Nketiah’s time at Crystal Palace has now gone from bad to worse.
The £25m summer signing from Arsenal is yet to score or assist in seven Premier League appearances for the Eagles – contributing little to an attack which has only netted eight goals in ten league outings so far this season.

Now – in a fresh development – Nketiah has suffered a hamstring injury, which is set to rule him out of Saturday’s clash against Fulham at Selhurst Park.
However – according to the Daily Mail – the manner in which Eddie Nketiah hurt himself has concerned Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace investigating Eddie Nketiah injury
Sami Mokbel has now revealed that Crystal Palace have launched an investigation – amid concerns the England international suffered the injury during a private session with a personal performance specialist, away from training at Copers Cope.
Medical staff at Crystal Palace do not believe Nketiah damaged his hamstring under their guidance, with the Eagles now exploring a change to internal structures to ensure such an incident does not happen again.

The Daily Mail add that Tottenham held similar concerns when Harry Kane opted to work with Dr. Alejandro Elorriaga Claraco to ease his ankle problems, which left the medical team at Hotspur Way unhappy.
Crystal Palace are said to be optimistic Nketiah’s injury is not a serious one, with hope he can return to face Aston Villa after the international break.
Crystal Palace fans should go easy on Eddie Nketiah
Some supporters will understandably be angered to hear that Nketiah injured himself away from club supervision, but we feel the 25-year-old should be cut some slack here.
Nketiah angered Crystal Palace fans during the 2-2 draw against Wolves with his wasteful passing, which allowed the Old Gold to break and equalise through Jorgen Strand Larsen.
In the aftermath of a disappointing individual performance, the Crystal Palace No.9 opted to try and improve himself by taking on some additional sessions with a specialist, which he should be praised for.
Unfortunately, Nketiah suffered an injury while doing so, but his desire to better himself should not result in criticism by any means.
