This summer is bound to be a busy one for Crystal Palace as Oliver Glasner and Dougie Freedman both look to rebuild the team.
Oliver Glasner only arrived last month but given the fact he’s a former Europa League-winning boss, the expectation would be he’s been promised some serious improvements to this squad.
This of course will take a blow with the departure of the likes of Michael Olise and Marc Guehi who both seem destined to depart.
But multiple players have been linked with joining Palace, and Dougie Freedman has a real job on his hands.
As the squad are on the warm weather training retreat, this is the week Glasner identified for him and Freedman to begin squad planning.

Dream Oliver Glasner line-up for the 2024/25 season
So starting off in goal, Sam Johnstone has impressed over the last few weeks since Glasner’s arrival, which seems to have put him permanently above Dean Henderson in goal.
Moving onto the backline, a centre-back departure of Guehi could see Palace finally make that long awaited swoop for Ronnie Edwards. On either side of the youngster he’d have Joachim Andersen and Chris Richards.
Daniel Munoz should continue on the right in a wing-back role, but on the left, Tyrick Mitchell could be replaced due to the change of role, and Lewis Hall could be brought in with the youngster unlikely to stay at Newcastle.
Central midfield is likely to see the return of the excellent Malian, Cheick Doucoure who has missed a substantial part of this campaign but now looks to be on the return. Partnering him should be Jefferson Lerma with Adam Wharton as the back-up to both initially.
In attack, with Olise likely to be gone, Matias Soule needs to be brought in as he could be a direct replacement in terms of the magic he’s capable of. While there’s a chance Palace hold on to Eberechi Eze so for now, we have him on the left.
Up-front comes the big Bundesliga striker Serhou Guirassy who has bagged 21 league goals in 19 games this season. He has been mentioned as a name that could be lured by Glasner.
