Crystal Palace are now set to wave goodbye to another player – following the departures of Michael Olise, Joachim Andersen, Jordan Ayew and Sam Johnstone.
It has been a busy summer at Selhurst Park in terms of outgoings, with David Ozoh, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, Malcolm Ebiowei and Joe Whitworth also departing on loan deals.
Now, another Crystal Palace player is set for a temporary exit after agreeing a deal with Leicester City…
Crystal Palace No.22 Odsonne Edouard undergoing Leicester City medical
John Percy of the Telegraph now states that Odsonne Edouard is having a medical ahead of a loan move to Leicester City.
The Frenchman has fallen behind Jean-Philippe Mateta in the pecking order under Oliver Glasner, and is set to be shoved even further down once Eddie Nketiah arrives in a £30m move from Arsenal as expected.
Earlier on transfer deadline day, Ipswich Town resurrected talks to sign Edouard having shown interest recently, after a deal for Chelsea striker Armando Broja broke down.

The Crystal Palace No.22 is expected to sign a new contract before joining the Foxes, or else he would leave as a free agent at the end of the season.
Should Edouard thrive at the King Power Stadium and become a valuable asset, it would leave the Eagles penniless should a new contract not be agreed with the £84,000-a-week forward.
Frenchman needs game time
Edouard has shown glimpses of being a very talented player on his day, but has simply struggled to adjust to Glasner’s tactical setup – scoring just one goal in 13 games under the Austrian.

However, at the age of just 26, the man from Kourou can still make a name for himself in English football, in a Leicester City side who have just signed Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace in an £8m deal as well.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Edouard undergoes his medical with the Foxes.
