Crystal Palace agree to sell Jordan Ayew to Leicester City
We Are Palace understand that Leicester have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace for Jordan Ayew.
Sources inform We Are Palace that Ayew has been told he is not going to be part of Palace’s plans long-term and Leicester have now made their move.
Ayew has interest from the Saudi Pro League and Qatar, but Leicester has now seen their offer – which is believed to be worth £8m plus bonuses – accepted.
With the bid accepted, Ayew is now expected to be completing his medical on Thursday afternoon.
This follows reports that suggested Ayew would be keen on moving to Leicester – with Steve Cooper planning on using him as a starter this season at the King Power Stadium.
Ayew joined Palace in 2019 and has been a regular ever since for the Eagles – after 212 appearances, his time at the club looks to be over.

Jordan Ayew could revive his career
For Ayew, joining Leicester could allow him to have a career resurgence at another Premier League club where he will be an important part of the team.
This is excellent for him, considering how at Selhurst Park he would be struggling for game-time, having fallen out of favour under Oliver Glasner.
Leicester have held an interest for almost a month now, having been first linked over three weeks ago.
After the arrival of Ismaila Sarr however, there was simply no place for Ayew.
Now, we wait and see if the deal will be completed, and if it is, Ayew will return to Selhurst Park next month on September 14th when Palace face Leicester.
