Crystal Palace are working hard to complete several new signings before the transfer window closes on Friday night.
The Eagles are in need of new recruits, with Oliver Glasner already losing some key stars over the past few months.
Eddie Nketiah is close to completing a transfer to Crystal Palace from Arsenal, with a deal worth an initial £25million agreed.
Once the striker is through the door, the plan is to add at least one other defender into the mix at Selhurst Park.
The latest name to be linked is Maxence Lacroix, who has been a long-term target at Crystal Palace.

Ralph Hasenhuttl confirms Maxence Lacroix to Crystal Palace transfer
Recent reports stated that Crystal Palace have agreed a deal to sign Maxence Lacroix from Wolfsburg, with a bid in the region of £18million made.
As the defender looks set to seal the move, his manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has already confirmed his exit to the media.
He said: “He [Lacroix] is currently not in Wolfsburg but already on the road for talks.
“We are waiting until everything is more or less finalized.”
It seemingly suggests that a move is almost tied up, with a medical and some final details left to wrap it all up.
Along with Nketiah, that would be a second late addition to improve the squad and it remains to be seen whether Crystal Palace will add another.
How good is Maxence Lacroix?
So with a deal now closing in on completion, many will be wondering just how good Lacroix really is at Wolfsburg.
The 24-year-old is an experienced centre-back, despite being so young, having already had four full Bundesliga seasons under his belt.
The Frenchman has over 130 appearances at his current club, where he has become their vice-captain.
Despite being tall at six foot and two inches, Lacroix has considerable pace and is more than comfortable making recovery runs.
He is particularly adept at playing in a back three, which will suit the switch to Crystal Palace well over the summer.
Lacroix has also played under Glasner before when he was managing in Germany, which will no doubt help him settle in.
With Marc Guehi set to stay at Crystal Palace, the new signing may well only help bolster the ranks after the loss of Joachim Andersen.
It remains to be seen how Lacroix will adjust to the Premier League, but he has all the potential to be a transfer bargain.
