Crystal Palace now have two signings on the way into the club ahead of the transfer deadline on Friday.
With Eddie Nketiah completing his medical after Crystal Palace and Arsenal agreed on a fee earlier this week, now the Eagles are closing in on another signing.
After selling Joachim Andersen to Fulham, a defensive addition seemed inevitable, and now a deal has been reached.

Maxence Lacroix set for Selhurst Park
An addition in central defence is a necessity for Oliver Glasner this summer, with Andersen’s departure being just one reason.
Chadi Riad has picked up an injury which leaves the Eagles light in numbers, while there is also a possible exit for Marc Guehi as Newcastle continues to have an interest.
Now, Glasner’s number one target is set for his medical ahead of making a move to Selhurst Park.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal for Maxence Lacroix to join Crystal Palace is now done, with the move getting those famous words, ‘here we go’, at long last.
All documents between Crystal Palace and Wolfsburg have been approved with the fee agreed around £18m.
Lacroix has long been the number one target for Glasner and therefore this will be seen as a massive coup inside Copers Cope for the Eagles.
Finally, it is added that Lacroix’s medical will now take place in London at some point over the next 24 hours – which should mean he arrives with time to spare before the window closes.
Who else could Crystal Palace sign?
Signing both Lacroix and Nketiah are massive coup for Crystal Palace this summer and improves the squad at Glasner’s disposal.
However, there could yet be work to come for Dougie Freedman.

In central defence, another addition would not go amiss with Trevoh Chalobah of Chelsea still seen as a potential option.
Elsewhere a new wingback could be on the cards, with Filip Kostic continually being linked. Rayan Cherki is also an option, with Lyon offering him to the Eagles.
So while a day and a half is remaining in the window, there are plenty of deals to keep an eye on.
